EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENTS
A well-prepared employment agreement lowers the chances of a potential dispute between parties. I advise and draft employment agreements for athletes, clubs and agents in various sports.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Amicable dispute resolution is a priority as it leaves both parties to settle a potential dispute without the interference of a third party. However, when an amicable resolution is not possible, I advise and represent clients before dispute resolution bodies.
SPORTS ENTITIES REGULATIONS
I advise sports entities, such as clubs, associations, sports companies, in preparing internal regulation, including statutes and disciplinary rules.
SPONSORSHIP & MARKETING & IR
Professional sport is not only connected to on-court activities, but nowadays mostly to off-court activities, such as marketing, use of image rights, etc. I advise clients on how to protect its personality and draft respective agreements.
TRANSFERS
I advise clubs, athletes and agents in transfers of athletes, especially in football. Providing a full legal support in a transfer of a player is crucial for a successful cooperation of all contracting parties.
LUKA MILANOVIĆ
Luka holds a master of laws degree from the University of Ljubljana. He represents and advises clients in sports-related cases before sports arbitration tribunals. His work includes sports and legal representation, in particular advising clients on the drafting of contracts as well as representing clients in disputes. Furthermore, he acts as a legal advisor to the Slovenian Basketball Coaches Association and a legal counsel for EuroLeague Players Association (ELPA). Since 2017 he has been a visiting lecturer at the Law Clinic ‘Law in Sport’ at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. He is fluent in four languages (Slovene, Serbo-Croatian, English, German).
